UltFace is published by DENOVATE LTD (“we”, “us”, “our”), registered at 71-75 Shelton Street, Covent Garden, London, United Kingdom, WC2H 9JQ.
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the UltFace web app, progressive web app (PWA), related APIs, and (where offered) companion mobile clients (together, the “Service”). By accessing or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle personal data and forms part of your agreement with us.
1. Description of the Service
UltFace lets you create artistic baby keepsake previews from ultrasound scans and related photos using AI. Features may include guest access, optional Google account linking, a credits wallet, product catalog, generation jobs, and result viewing.
2. Entertainment & medical disclaimer (IMPORTANT)
UltFace is entertainment software. Outputs are imaginative, artistic visualizations. They are not medical devices, medical imaging, diagnostic tools, or predictions of fetal health, appearance, or outcomes.
- Do not use results for medical, diagnostic, or clinical decisions
- Always follow advice from qualified healthcare professionals for pregnancy care
- We do not guarantee resemblance, accuracy, or fitness for any particular purpose
- AI results may be unexpected, imperfect, or unavailable
3. Eligibility & accounts
You must be old enough to enter a binding contract in your jurisdiction and at least 18 years old to use the Service.
When you use UltFace, you agree to:
- Provide accurate information if you link a Google account
- Keep access to your device and account secure
- Accept responsibility for activity under your guest or verified session
- Use the Service only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms
Guest sessions are tied to a device identifier. Linking Google upgrades or merges your studio identity as described in the product; if a Google identity already exists, credits and creations may be merged into that account.
4. License
We grant you a personal, non-transferable, non-exclusive, revocable license to use the Service as provided. You may not reverse engineer, scrape, abuse rate limits, remove proprietary notices, sublicense access, or use the Service to violate applicable law.
5. Your content
You retain rights in the photos and materials you upload. You represent that you have the right to upload them and that they do not infringe others’ rights. You grant us a limited license to host, process, transmit, and display that content solely to operate the Service (including AI generation and result delivery).
Subject to applicable law and these Terms, you may use generated keepsakes for personal, non-commercial sharing. You may not use outputs to mislead others that they are clinical medical results.
6. Credits & payments
Certain generations consume credits. Credit packs may be purchased via Stripe checkout (or other processors we designate). Prices and pack sizes are shown in the Service and may change. Credits have no cash value, are generally non-transferable, and expire only if we clearly state otherwise in the product.
- Purchases are charged by the payment provider at confirmation
- Except where required by law, fees are non-refundable once credits are delivered
- If Stripe or catalog pricing is misconfigured, we may be unable to complete checkout; welcome or promotional credits may still apply as shown in-product
7. Acceptable use
You agree NOT to:
- Upload unlawful, harmful, or infringing content
- Attempt unauthorized access to accounts, jobs, or systems
- Interfere with or disrupt the Service
- Use automated systems to abuse generation or credit flows
- Misrepresent AI outputs as medical advice, diagnostic imaging, or clinical records
- Use the Service to harass, exploit, or harm others
8. Intellectual property
The Service, software, design, branding, and trademarks (including “UltFace”) are owned by DENOVATE LTD or our licensors and protected by applicable IP laws. Except for the limited license above, no rights are granted.
9. Termination
We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these Terms, abuse the Service, or create risk to other users or our systems. You may stop using the Service at any time and may delete your account from Profile where available. Termination does not automatically entitle you to a refund of unused credits except where required by law.
10. Disclaimers
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE”, WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, ACCURACY, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT GUARANTEE UNINTERRUPTED OPERATION, SPECIFIC AI OUTPUTS, OR AVAILABILITY OF ANY MODEL PROVIDER.
11. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, DENOVATE LTD and its affiliates shall not be liable for:
- Indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages
- Loss of profits, data, goodwill, or other intangible losses
- Damages arising from reliance on AI outputs or inability to use the Service
Our total liability arising out of these Terms or your use of the Service is limited to the amount you paid for credits in the 12 months preceding the claim (or £50 if greater and required as a minimum by mandatory law). Nothing excludes liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law.
12. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales, except where consumer law grants you the right to bring the dispute in your local courts.
13. Changes
We may update these Terms. Material changes will be reflected by updating the “Last updated” date on this page. Continued use after changes are posted constitutes acceptance.
